Day 2 at Desert Aire was another smashing success. Stella and Clara arrived then night before so now we are up to 8 kids and waiting on just 2 more! Despite the windy weather, kids still got to swim, ride bikes, play tag and do all the other fun stuff vacation brings. Sadie rode a 2 wheel bike all by herself for the first time and Coop became a master at the razor (the scooter...not the shaving device :-) Hopefully I will get pictures of them on both today!

Would you expect anything less from Cooper?

Awwww....so cute!

Annual Desert Aire Vacation!

Finally...the 4th of July holiday is upon us and the Jensen family has joined the rest of the Prock/Smith/Jensen clan at beautiful Desert Aire in Eastern Washington. Every year the kids look forward to sun, pool, playtime with their cousins and of course, granddad's famous shaved ice. And the adults...well...we just look forward to the vacation. Today was our fist official day at the house and the kids spent about 6 hours in the pool. Sadie is swimming up a storm now and Coop...well...at least he's not scared the pool this year. With ALL of his flotation devises in use he is ready to tackle the big bad pool.

OK...I'm ready to go!

All the kids patiently waiting for the sunscreen to dry before jumping in the pool!

See...swimming isn't that hard

Sadie and Cousin Marisa goofing around ... sans water wings this year! Yeah!

Coop is definitely secure with his masculinity

Thank you Granddad for building us such a wonderful place to play!

Father's Day at the ballpark!

What a great Father's Day we all had yesterday. My sister-in-law Melissa and I decided to take our hubby's, the kids, Granddad & Grandma and Papa Terry to the Mariner's Game for an afternoon of cotton candy, kettle corn, garlic fries, licorice, beer and fun! Went to the game last year on Father's Day as well and think we will make it a tradition! My Dad (Granddad) hadn't been back to a Mariner's game in quite some time so it was so much fun to bring him to a game...especially with some of the grandkids. After the game it was off to Grandma and Granddad's for a yummy dinner with the family. We all had a GREAT Father's Day!

Today was the first day of Little Kickers soccerball (Coop's adorable nickname for soccer!) Please note: It is JUNE and my kids are in jackets and the parents are freezing their **BLEEP** off on the sidelines. When will this misery end and summer begin? Anyway, despite the cold and wet weather it was a great morning and the kids had so much fun. I can't wait for more soccerball in the future!

Kick to the left...kick to the right....SCORE!

My little girl all grown up!

Hey hot stuff...come here often?

Kindegarten here I come!

Believe it or not, today was Sadie's Preschool Graduation. Yes...she's officially a Kindergartner now and will be moving on from Pixie Hill. I just can't believe that she's almost 5 years old and will be in elementary school come fall. Pixie Hill was such an amazing place for her to spend her last year and although we are sad to be leaving all of the wonderful teachers and friends, Sadie is definitely excited for her new adventure!
