Sadie's Pixie Hill Preschool 1/2 Birthday

At Sadie's wonderful preschool, Pixie Hill, they make sure that everyone has a special birthday day...even if your birthday is in July like Sadie's. So, yesterday was Sadie's 1/2 Birthday day which was a very special day for her. Curtis and I were able to come for the celebration where the class got to see a few of Sadie's favorite pictures of herself and her family, be the line leader all day, where a birthday crown, and have cupcakes. But I think the best part was seeing the smile on her face when they went around the room and had each person say one nice thing about Sadie. It was so cute. The best was one of little boys saying that he loved riding bikes with Sadie. So cute!!

Curtis decided it was high time his daughter got up on her first pair of skies so I sent the two of them up to the mountains the other day for a little bonding over some snow. After our amazing neighbors gave us their daughter's old skies and boots and a little help from Costco's clothing section this winter, Sadie was ready to go. Although I don't ski myself (yet!) I really wish I could have joined them because it sounded like they had such a blast! Nonetheless, it was a great Father/Daughter day and I'm so glad they went. The pictures are priceless...my little rocking snow boarding chick of a daughter took right to the slopes!
